Equipment sales for locating, sewers and water networks
CFT Group GmbH in Traiskirchen and CFT Group Deutschland GmbH, Lange Zeile 27 in D-85435 Erding, are the official dealer for these ten brands in Austria and southern Germany. The status is agreed separately for each brand – as a contracted dealer, as an authorised service partner or as a reseller, and separately for Austria and for Germany. Which level applies to your instrument and your country we will tell you when you enquire; on request we will provide the manufacturer’s dealer confirmation in writing, for a procurement file for example. Sales run through the group shop SEMPERDEAL; advice, on-site instruction, training and repair come from CFT.

What comes with a purchase
Before you buy. We advise from our own use of these instruments and tell you before you place the order which groups of instruments are available at short notice, which accessories and wearing parts we keep in stock and how long items on order take.
When you buy. Sales run through the group shop SEMPERDEAL. Your contracting party is CFT Group GmbH in Traiskirchen or CFT Group Deutschland GmbH in Erding; quotation, order and invoice run in German. For advice and for service there is a separate address each; both are listed below under "Contact and shop".
On-site instruction. For every electrical instrument bought from us there is, on request, on-site instruction directly at your premises; Radiodetection, Schonstedt, Pearpoint, SPRINGBOK, CamTronics, F.A.S.T, Sensors & Software and Zeitler are named explicitly. Our team comes to you, you do not have to send anyone away on a training trip.
Training. Separate from this stands the training programme of basic and advanced modules in three fields – cable and pipe locating, cable fault location and leak detection. It is a separate, chargeable service and teaches the method, not an individual model; we quote the costs on request. It runs from the basic techniques of cable and pipe locating through acoustic pipe locating, electromagnetic pipe, cable and sonde location, magnetic locating and ground penetrating radar to bridge measurement (Murray loop), time domain reflectometry (TDR), sheath fault location on plastic-sheathed cables, cable identification in the trench and on cable tray as well as the Ley method, the twist method and surge (thumping), and on to ground microphone technique, leak noise correlation and gas detection in leak detection. For more than 30 years we have used it to support construction firms, network operators, municipal utilities and building services engineers.
Maintaining. Repair, service and calibration run through our own department. You register the instrument in advance and either enclose the repair form with the parcel or send it digitally to support@semperdeal.com. Four points we settle straight away at registration, so that you do not have to ask: who handles the warranty case and whether the instrument goes to the manufacturer for it, how long the repair is likely to take, from what value upwards we issue a written estimate beforehand, and whether a loan instrument is available for that time.
Our brands by field of use
Locating in the ground. Radiodetection supplies the transmitter-and-receiver chain from prelocation on site to route recording with GPS. Schonstedt finds iron without a signal: the surface box tarmacked over, the boundary peg lost in undergrowth. Sensors and Software answers with ground penetrating radar the question of what does not conduct – plastic pipe, concrete, void.
Cable faults. SPRINGBOK builds time domain reflectometers with which the distance to the discontinuity is determined before anyone reaches for a spade. With us this measurement stands at the beginning of almost every fault search.
Sewers and pipes from the inside. Pearpoint covers the range from the domestic drain to the crawler-accessible pipe run, with push-rod cameras and modular crawler cameras. CamTronics adds push-rod cameras for small nominal diameters and the EasySmoker, which makes visible where a pipe actually leads.
Water loss and drinking water networks. F.A.S.T builds the equipment for quiet losses: inflow and ultrasonic measurement, acoustic prelocation and pinpointing, leak noise correlation, hydrophones, pressure measurement and hydrogen as a tracer gas.
Access and operation. ITALIFTERS opens and guards the manhole, with magnetic lifters, lever tools and barriers. Kluitmann Industrietechnik supplies the keys for it: SIGA security keys, operating keys for valves and HYDRA hydrant valve keys.
Occupying a duct. Zeitler drives the rope through the duct with air, complete with parachutes, nozzles and locating ropes – the step that precedes pulling in, and often locating as well.
How a purchase works
It begins with a conversation: you describe the application, we say which instrument will carry it and which accessories go with it. From that comes a written quotation. Order, delivery and invoice run through the group shop SEMPERDEAL, where all prices and variants are listed as well: view the CFT range at SEMPERDEAL. On-site instruction is part of every delivery of an electrical instrument – our team comes to you as soon as the instrument has arrived. Repair, service and calibration then stay with us.
Requesting a quotation
We write quotations for businesses, network operators, municipal utilities and public sector clients. Enquiries go to office@cft.at for Austria and to office@cft-de.de for Germany, by telephone to +43 (0) 2252 53169 and +49 (0) 173 6842932 respectively, Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:30, Friday 8:00 to 12:00.
So that the quotation can be produced without a query back to you, we need:
- brand and instrument – or, if that is still open, the application: medium, nominal diameters, lengths, ground conditions, depth
- the accessories that are to be supplied with it
- delivery and invoice address
- UID number (VAT identification number) for the invoice in the case of cross-border delivery
- your order, project or procurement number, if it has to appear on the quotation and invoice
- your preferred delivery date
Prices appear solely in the quotation and in the shop.
Frequently asked questions
Am I buying from CFT or from SEMPERDEAL?
Both belong to the same group. SEMPERDEAL is the shop through which order, delivery and invoice run. Advice, on-site instruction and service come from CFT.
Why are there no prices here?
Prices appear solely in the shop, so that they are maintained in one place and do not go out of date. Call us if you want to know beforehand what configuration you actually need.
Do you deliver to Germany as well?
Yes. CFT Group Deutschland GmbH in Erding is responsible for Germany and can be reached by telephone on +49 (0) 173 6842932; the focus is on southern Germany. If your site lies outside that area, we check the enquiry brand by brand and tell you bindingly, before the quotation, whether and how we deliver.
Can I get accessories and spare parts for older instruments too?
The range carries batteries, battery packs, push-rod cables, camera heads, connection sets and wearing parts as separate items, for older series as well: a rucksack and bag for RD7000, RD7100, RD8000 and RD8100, for instance, or connection sets for the T1, TX-1, TX-5 and TX-10 transmitters. Whether a particular part is still available for your year of manufacture we will tell you against the serial number, before you order.
Can I hire instruments instead of buying them?
The shop lists two hire items: the complete C.A.T4+ set with Genny4 and the complete RD8XXX set with Tx10, both from Radiodetection – intended for a single construction phase. For the remaining brands no hire items are currently held; ask us if you need an instrument for a limited period, and we will set out duration and terms in the quotation.
Do you also give instruction on instruments I did not buy from CFT?
On-site instruction is available on request for every electrical instrument you buy from us. The training programme on cable and pipe locating, cable fault location and leak detection is a separate, chargeable service – we quote the costs on request – and is open to you regardless of where you bought your instrument. It teaches the respective method, independent of the instrument model, and takes place at your own premises.
