Service and repair

We repair what the manufacturer has authorised us to repair.

Repair, maintenance and calibration for locating and measuring equipment – in our own workshop in Traiskirchen. Which brands are covered by an authorisation is listed below; for all others we tell you where the instrument should go.

What we do to the instrument

Repairing faulty instruments

The instrument no longer works, reports a fault or has been damaged. We look at it and tell you what it costs before anything is replaced.

Maintenance and wearing parts

Maintenance, visual inspection, wearing parts, accessories: sondes, cables, clamps and batteries wear out faster than the instrument itself.

Calibration in Traiskirchen

Calibration is done here in Traiskirchen, not at the manufacturer. The instrument stays in-house.

How a repair job runs

  1. Register in advance

A short call, or fill in the registration below. That is not a formality: with the details in advance, the diagnosis starts on the day of arrival, not after it.

  2. Send or bring the instrument

Enclose the repair form – company, contact person, instrument, serial number and what you are observing.

  3. Findings and costs

We come back with what the instrument has and what the repair costs. Nothing is replaced before your approval. Measuring and calibrating is done in-house.

  4. Checked and back in service

You get the instrument back checked. What was done, we tell you beforehand.

Which instruments we repair

The brands for which we hold a repair authorisation from the manufacturer. For all others we tell you where the instrument should go – even if you bought it from us.

Fields marked Required must be filled in. Without JavaScript all four steps appear one below the other – filling in and sending works just the same.

Step 1 of 4 Contact details
If you have one – otherwise leave blank.
Who in your organisation decides about the repair.

Telephone or email – we need one of the two to send the estimate.

Step 2 of 4 Instrument details
Instrument manufacturer Required For these brands we hold a repair authorisation. If yours is not listed, choose "another brand" – we will tell you where the instrument should go.
For example RD8100 or GA-72Cd.
On the type plate.
Roughly is enough – it decides about the warranty.
Proof of purchase available?
Sonde, transmitter, charger, cables, case – what comes with it goes back with it.
Step 3 of 4 Service request
What should we do Required
What are you observing, and since when? For example: since a fall the receiver shows no deflection. Or: the battery does not last an hour.
Cost estimate
Urgency
Return
Up to eight files, each up to 12 MB, 40 MB in total. JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP or PDF. A photo of the type plate and one of the damage help with the assignment.
Step 4 of 4 Summary

You have filled in everything – check the details above once more and send the registration.

How we handle your details is set out in the privacy notice (in German).

Your registration goes to dienstleistung@cft.at and to our own workshop management system SEMPERconnect, where the job gets its number. To nobody else – details are in the privacy notice (in German).

Tell us what the instrument has.

Fastest by telephone – then we can settle straight away whether the repair is worth it or a replacement is the better way.
