Zeitler rope blowing units at CFT
Zeitler builds units that drive a rope through a duct with air instead of pushing it in metre by metre. Anyone who wants to occupy a duct or introduce a sonde needs exactly this first step. CFT carries the EZ range together with ropes, parachutes and nozzles – the pulling in often precedes the locating.

Quotation, delivery and queries run in German, without a detour via a foreign distributor. We can be reached Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 16:30 and Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 on +43 (0) 2252 53169.
The Zeitler range
Blowing units of the EZ range
The range comprises the EZ-15, EZ-50, EZ-100 and EZ-300. The EZ-300 is listed with a two-stroke engine. The grading decides which duct lengths and cross-sections can still sensibly be worked. For the shuttle complete set: EZ-100 up to NW 150 mm, EZ-300 up to NW 200 mm.
Special rope and locating rope
The range distinguishes between special rope and locating rope, each in several thicknesses: from 1 mm to the 4 mm rope with a breaking strain of 210 kg or 300 kg, the 4 mm variant also with metre marking. You take the metre marking when someone later has to know how far it is to the point in question. The locating rope is intended to allow the element pulled in to be found again.
Parachutes and other blowing aids
For the rope to go with it, the air needs a surface to act on: parachutes for inner ducts of 30 to 60, 60 to 100, 100 to 150 and 150 to 200 mm, plus lubri-balls, beads and foam attachments. For the large units there is the shuttle complete set for the EZ100 up to NW150 mm and the EZ300 up to NW200 mm. The choice is made by the inside diameter, not by the unit.
Nozzles, adapters and wearing parts
Nozzles, front sections, suction unit, rope brake and air hoses can be ordered separately.
You will find all available Zeitler items in the group shop: Zeitler at SEMPERDEAL.
What these instruments are used for
In pipe and utility detection sonde location rarely fails on the technology, usually on access: the pipe is there, but there is nothing inside it to work from. A rope blown in creates this starting point. In spring main locating the issue is long, non-metallic mains out in open ground; in the CCTV drainage survey it is getting the camera or sonde as far as the point in question.
On-site instruction and training
CFT gives instruction directly on site: our team comes to you and introduces operation and application in a practical way, in your familiar surroundings instead of in a training room. This is undertaken for every electrical instrument bought from CFT. Zeitler is named expressly in the brand list for instrument instruction, alongside Radiodetection, Schonstedt, Pearpoint, Springbok, CamTronics, Fast, Sensor & Software and Vesala. In addition there is the training programme with basic and advanced modules, among them cable and pipe locating and sonde location, that is the technique for which a rope pulled in creates the precondition. Dates through office@cft.at.
Service, repair and calibration
We do not hold a manufacturer’s repair authorisation for Zeitler; the brand is therefore not selectable in the repair form. Do not send the instrument off on the off chance – call us, we will tell you where it belongs.
CFT maintains a repair and service department of its own. For the brands with authorisation: register repair, service or calibration in advance and enclose the completed repair form with the parcel; that speeds up diagnosis and handling. Alternatively send it digitally to support@semperdeal.com.
Frequently asked questions
Which unit in the EZ range suits my duct?
The decisive factors are the inside diameter and the length of the run. For the shuttle complete set: the allocation through the shuttle complete set: EZ-100 up to NW 150 mm, EZ-300 up to NW 200 mm; the EZ-300 is listed with a two-stroke engine. Tell us the duct size, the run and the site situation, and we will narrow down the size of unit before the order.
What is the difference between special rope and locating rope?
The special rope is purely the pulling medium and is chosen by breaking strain, from 24 kg to 300 kg. The locating rope is intended to allow the run pulled in to be found again. If it is already clear at the blowing stage that the duct will be located afterwards, take this one.
What do I need a parachute, lubri-ball and beads for?
The parachute gives the air the surface with which it draws the rope along, and it is chosen by the inside diameter. Lubri-balls and beads are the smaller carriers for narrow cross-sections and bends. Without a suitable carrier the rope stops.
Can I get individual wearing and spare parts?
Yes. Nozzles, front sections, suction unit, rope brake, rope cylinder, foam rings and air hoses are listed separately, not only as a set. Tell us the type of unit and the defective part, and we will check that it matches.
Can I hire a blowing unit?
No hire item is held in the Zeitler range, unlike with individual locating instruments of other brands.
